Idaho Pasture Pigs

Breadcrumb Navigation

Idaho Pasture Pigs are a relatively new breed of pig that are known for their friendly disposition, smaller size than typical meat hog breeds, and most importantly the fact that they are a grazing pig. They can survive primarily on grass or hay with a small amount of grain & minerals fed daily. They can mature to their butcher weight of 230-250 pounds in about 10 months. An added benefit is they can live outside all year round (with a small shelter) even in Northern Wisconsin! The Idaho Pasture Pig is made up of Duroc, Old Berkshire, and KuneKune breeds.
